For homework we was asked to take one or two pictures or even locate them from the Internet/magazine. identify and locate the camera angle and comment on the effect/mood created and think about the way in which the subject is portrayed to the audience (connotations of the camera shots and angles)
The camera shot used in this image is "Establishing Shot" and at "Eye-Level" the camera is positioned as though it is a human actually observing a scene and will never be more than six feet from the ground. The colours situated in the picture are all nature related and as you work your way down the picture the vibrancy of the green brightens and reflects the idea of nature evolving and how freshness is blooming. The mood created from this image is freshness and beauty of the landscape and could reflect the idea of Hollywood and the new beginning. The image is portrayed to the audience as a fulfilling dream.
The camera shot used in this image is "Extra long shot" and "eye level" the use of this is that the people do not dominate the image and therefore the shadows (from dark to light) influence the idea of walking into happiness and a new life which reflects the idea of "marriage" and a new start. The couple are holding hands and therefore symbolises there love and affection for each other and controls the whole image. The image fades into darkness and therefore could suggest that the light will lead the way which reinforces the idea of the couple walking towards the light.
